The first day I went to grade one.


It was a Tuesday.Early in the I went to the school with my mother and father. I entered the school that day with a little fear. I saw that there were a lot of students in the upper grades of the school. Because I had never been to school before. Although my school was a primary school, I saw it as the biggest school in the world.


But unexpectedly, there was a warm welcome from grade two students to us.They had organized a beautiful function with dancing items, singing items and other beautiful items.The most beautiful item that caught my attention was the song "Hinchi Pinchi Haawa". Pictured below is a souvenir given to us at the function that day.

After the function,parents had a meeting and we were divided into classes. I selected to class 1-A. Then I went to the classroom with my class teacher Mrs.Vajira.I felt excited and happy.There were about forty friends in my class. Firstly we all entered the class after worshipping to the teacher with betel leaves. After that we were all with the class teacher until the end of school that day. Still, it is one of the most memorable day in my life.

    I don't have a clear memory about my first day at school...but I really miss that old beautiful days at scool...I wish if I could go back to those days....❤

All Island Art Competition - 2018

   We all are know there are lot of art competitions have us to participate in our school time. One of them is "All Island Art Competition". I participated for this competition every year. The year of 2018 is very important year among them. Because I won " All Island First Place" in 2018. It was one of turning point in my life.    I participated in this competition under the design category. It was held at "The Ministry Of Education, Isurupaya". I had never gone before that place . There was a little fear in my heart. About five hundred  students in my age were there. I went to the competition with my mother.    Competition was started at 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m. I had only 7 hours for my creation. My creation was "Repeat Design". A Happy Holiday

Thisari, Senuri, Chamidu, Mohan, my sisters and I are a group of friends. We have a brotherhood that goes beyond friendship. So one day we decided to go for a swim in the stream around the house.  It's called "Ali Dola".  We went to the place on foot. Thissari's mother was also present for our protection. By the end of the rainy season, the water of the stream was very clean and the whole stream was full of water.  So we went for a swim that day very impatiently.  It has a large rocky plateau. First we took photos with that beautiful view. Then we started having fun and bathing. It took four or five hours. Gradually the hunger increased. Then I remembered home-cooked Cassava and Chilli Paste. It was a very clear day. So the sun was shining well on the rock. We were so hungry. We ate Cassava in wet clothes.
